YOGA NIDRA & CACAO EVENT

We all have the ability to heal ourselves…let Kerry and Robyne help you get started with organic chocolates and meditation (no experience necessary)!

Kerry Lucier, the owner of Aruna Chocolates will begin this fun event with a cup of cacao that is rich with adaptogens and polysaccharides (these are super good for you and Kerry will explain why!). This will help us to ground and really get into our bodies in order to create space to deepen our experience.

Aruna Chocolates is a botanical powered chocolate company where LOVE is the superfood. The cacao is ethically sourced from Ecuador and Peru. The handmade chocolates are crafted from bean to bar in Kerry’s kitchen and are vegan friendly. They are also free of all dairy, sugar, gluten or soy. As Kerry says, “They are machine-free and haste-free.”

Participants will then get comfy and cozy, lying down on a yoga mat or blanket. Yoga Nidra is actually a form of guided mediation…that means no pretzel poses! This makes it easy for anyone to participate, regardless of age, body type of physical ability. If you prefer to sit, that is fine as well!

Soothing music will play in the background as you listen to a gentle guided meditation by Robyne Cooke. Robyne is a certified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master and certified Yoga Nidra teacher. Her goal is to bring the serenity needed to our bodies so that we can aid in healing ourselves.

This calming meditation will lead your body, mind and spirit into deep relaxation.
Yoga Nidra (this form of meditation) suspends us in the space between wakefulness and sleep so it offers deep renewal on all levels.
Improved sleep, reduced muscle tension, inner peace, more energy, lower heart rate , and lower blood pressure are just a few of the proven benefits.

This fun and educational event will end with samples of Aruna Chocolates!
We promise you will leave feeling refreshed and peaceful - and will hopefully carry that feeling with you back into your world.

No meditation experience is necessary. Participants are kindly asked to bring a yoga mat or soft blanket to sit/lay on. Pillows, bolsters, eye pillows or anything else that helps you relax is encouraged. A blanket for covering is suggested since we tend to cool down as we settle into relaxation.

Cost is $25 and can be made through Eventbrite. Space is limited so don’t wait!
