Harvest Moon Herb Festival

Join us on the Full Harvest Moon and immerse yourself in all things Herbal ! Guided by spirit and our Earth Mother we gather together to rejoice in all that she has given us.
Admission to the festival ( vendors, food, services, music) is $5, however if you are planning to attend the amazing day of classes we are offering there is a $50 fee and registration that is required prior to the event. We have 7 classes lined up for the day. Class participants will be given a bracelet that will allow entry to our learning areas. Class length is 45 mins and start promptly at 9am . Schedule with class time will be handed out the day of the festival, there will be a break from 11:45 -1:30 for lunch, shopping and self care services. Please note that you are not obligated to attend all 7 classes

Classes for the day to include a range of topics including Herbal, holistic health and spiritual plant relationships.
Herbal Energetics - Herbalist Rachael McNerney of World Canopy will guide us on the energetics of herbs and how the effect your constitution. we'll cover heating, cooling, moistening, and drying herbs that help bring the mind, body and spirt into harmony with nature.
Immunity - Herbalist Erik Harris of Chi for Healing will guide us on the best herbs for boosting your immunity. Learn Chinese medicine as it relates to immunity. Brief overview of the five elements and Chinese herbal formulas to support immunity. Discussion of specific wild foraged herbs and mushrooms that can support immunity
Tincture Making -Herbalist Erik Harris of Chi for Healing will guide us on best practices for preparing and making your own herbal tincture out of either alcohol or glycerin. This tincture can support you for the colder months of the year.
Tea Blending - Herbalist Cindy Cleveland of Clevelandia Homestead will guide us on best practices for tea blending and using our intuition to choose the herbs that are best for us.
Herbal Infusions ( Lunar and Solar Tea talk ) - Herbalist Cindy Cleveland of Clevelandia Homestead will guide us on using the energy of the moon to make healing and vibrant infusions. We will discuss the difference between a sun tea and lunar tea and how we can harness the power of both. There will be samples of several different infusions using each method discussed.
Culinary Herbs - Herbalist Rachael McNerney of World Canopy will guide us on how to integrate herbs into healthy meals. Liven up your dishes with powerhouse plants that are both tasty and nutritious. We'll unveil the actions of these plant allies and make them part of your kitchen preparations.
Spiritual Herbs - Herbalist and Yoga Mentor Erin Day (Daksa Devi), of Ten Summit Yoga will guide us on finding our relationship with plants. Has a plant Being thoroughly captivated your attention? You may not know this Being by name but you can feel there is just something speaking to your heart and spirit? There is a part of us that so deeply feels this connection that once ignited that relationship will not be ignored. In fact, you will find your calling herb, the one that captivates you, comes to you again and again. In our time together you'll open a door to this relationship to herbs, one that's beyond any knowledge found in books and one that's uniquely shared between you and the natural world.
Through this workshop we'll:
• Journey, from the comfort of a seat, to meet our calling herbs
• Develop tools and practices to deeply relate to plants and to ourselves in the process
• Heighten the awareness of our 5 senses and beyond
• Cultivate trust in our unique connection to the natural world
