About Sam
Sam Garcia Jr. brings more than 20 years of experience in the healing arts, weaving together shamanic practice, spiritual mentoring, Internal Family Systems (IFS), therapeutic bodywork, movement, ceremony, and creative expression.
His own healing journey led him to explore the connection between body, heart, mind, relationships, and spirit. Through Sacred Journey Into the Heart & Soul, Sam offers a compassionate, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where people can reconnect with themselves, deepen their relationship with Spirit, and move toward greater wholeness.
Sam’s shamanic practice is rooted in a five-year apprenticeship with Char Sundust at the Oracle Institute in Seattle. His work includes shamanic journeywork, Soul Retrieval, ancestral healing, ceremony and ritual, Sacred Heart teachings, and spiritual mentoring.
He also completed five years of intensive Internal Family Systems (IFS) study with Jay Early, Everett Considine, and Dina Love and has integrated parts work into his healing practice for more than 15 years.
Therapeutic & Transformational Bodywork
Sam has more than 20 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork. Each session is individually tailored and may incorporate Transformational Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Acupressure, Thai-inspired stretching, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, and Lomi Lomi-inspired techniques.
His intention is to support relaxation, mobility, muscular release, embodied awareness, and a deeper connection with the body.
Men in Truth
Come as you are — raw, real, rising, and remembering.
Sam facilitates Men in Truth, a heart-centered circle for gay and bisexual men to gather in truth, emotional healing, spiritual connection, and authentic brotherhood.
Circles weave together IFS, shamanic practices, meditation, movement, creative expression, honest conversation, and community.

Soul Dance & Retreats
Sam completed three years of 5Rhythms training and created Soul Dance, a movement meditation bringing together body, emotional truth, creativity, and spirit.
He also co-facilitates the Four Rivers Healing Retreat with Everett Considine and Heather Gatto. The retreat weaves together ceremony, IFS, emotional healing, movement, creativity, nature, community, and spiritual practice.
